Enabling High-Density Fibre Ingress for Data Centre Infrastructure in Indonesia


Overview

A data centre deployment in Indonesia required a high-capacity fibre ingress layer to support scalable interconnect and internal distribution networks.

In these environments, fibre density, pathway constraints, and rack space utilisation are critical, where cable size, routing efficiency, and fibre management directly impact asset utilisation and long-term scalability.


Approach

Veyra Fibre supported the deployment by structuring a high-density fibre ingress solution aligned to scalable data centre architectures.

The design combined slim profile loose tube cables, high-density termination systems, and modular rack-based distribution frameworks to maximise fibre capacity across both pathway and rack environments. Fibre ingress and transition were managed through high-capacity enclosure systems, enabling controlled splicing, segregation, and routing of incoming fibres.

The solution incorporated:

  • Slim profile LSZH and HDPE loose tube cables supporting up to 864F within ~10 mm diameter using 200 µm bend-insensitive fibre, enabling high-capacity ingress within constrained pathways

  • High-density splice architecture supporting up to 288F splices within 1RU

  • Rack-level distribution frameworks supporting 11,000+ fibre terminations within a single rack footprint

  • Fibre enclosure systems supporting up to 3,168 splice capacity for aggregation of high fibre-count ingress cables

  • IP68+ (5 m water head) and IK10 rated closures ensuring environmental protection and mechanical robustness

  • Fully kitted enclosure systems supporting structured splicing, sealing, and long-term maintainability

The supplied scope focused on fibre ingress cables and enclosure systems, aligned to the broader high-density architecture.


Outcome

By matching cable density, enclosure capacity, and termination architecture, the design enables scalable interconnect, efficient pathway utilisation, and high rack space efficiency - supporting future expansion without rework.
